SNEAK THEFT – GARNER, NC

On 9/4/21, at approximately 12:30 p.m., a retail jewelry store was the victim of a sneak theft.  A male subject entered the store and asked to see gold chains.  After he was brought to a showcase case, he kept asking to see multiple pieces and confused the sales associate who was helping him.  During this confusion, he was able to palm one of the chains and slide it into his pocket.  He then declined a purchase and walked out of the store.  The chain was not discovered missing until a case count was completed on 9/6/21. The subject was described as a 5’8″ Back male. He has a medium build and is approximately 37-years-old.  He was last seen wearing shorts.
