Suspect arrested after stealing $9,000 in jewelry

Texarkana, TX – On March 7, 2021,� Texarkana police arrested 28-year-old Kevin Parker after he committed a $9,000 grab & run from a store in a mall.

The owner of the store chased after Parker, but he was unable to maintain sight of him after he crossed a street. Officer Brent Hobbs and Sgt. Jeremy Sutton observed Parker walking in the area shortly after the crime. Police found some clothes and jewelry that were hidden behind a dumpster. Parker was subsequently taken into custody. Police recovered all of the items he had stolen and returned them to the jeweler.
