SUSPECT ARRESTED FOLLOWING ROBBERY – JONESBORO, AR

On 1/29/21, a suspect later identified as 43-year-old Jermaine Byers entered a retail jewelry store and asked to see a high-end watch. While the employee was showing Byers the watch, Byers snatched it out of the employees hand and caused a slight injury. The employee then chased Byers into the parking lot. A struggle between the employee and Byers ensued, which caused an injury to the employee’s knee. Byers was held down until officers arrived and took him into custody.
