VANDALISM – ROCHESTER, NY

On 8/22/20, at approximately 1:00 p.m., two males approached a jewelry store and began to yell at staff. They claimed the merchandise was too expensive and they began to kick in the showcase. They then fled to a waiting vehicle. A mall patron captured an image of the vehicle as the subjects fled. No merchandise was taken and no injuries occurred. It was reported that a similar incident occurred at another jewelry store at another mall in Rochester. The subjects were described as two Black males in their early 20’s. They both wore black shoes, blue jeans and a dark sweatshirt with a hoodie. The first male wore a black face mask and the second male had an unknown photo depicted on the front. He wore a light colored face mask. One of the subjects had a cursive word tattoo above his left eye.
