DISTRACTION THEFT – WEBSTER, TX

During a routine inventory count on 7/19/21, a jewelry store discovered multiple items missing from a showcase. It was determined at least 21 items were missing. A review of the store’s video system identified a distraction theft that had occurred on 7/17/21. The subject was seen utilizing an unknown type tool to gain access to the case. He had a shopping bag with him which he used to conceal the stolen items in. He was on location for approximately 30 plus minutes. The first subject was described as Black, approximately in his late 20s-early 30s, with an athletic build. He is approximately 6’2″, and was last seen wearing a long-sleeved white t-shirt, blue shorts, a black baseball cap, and white shoes. There was possibly a second subject involved. He is a light-skinned black male in his early 30s. He is approximately 220 lbs and 6’2″. He was last seen wearing a dark blue t-shirt, khaki shorts, white tennis shoes, and a black baseball cap.
