Cobb County, GA- 3 Accused of Robbing Cumberland Mall Jewelry Kiosk.

Cobb County, GA– October 30, 2024 – Joshua Christopher Gregory, 19, of Atlanta; Terrence Phillip-Pendleman Johnson, 25, of Atlanta; and De’Mon Quotez Renard Waller, 23, of Forest Park, are accused of stealing six chains worth $36,000 from Diamond Treasure by sudden snatching on Oct. 1 at 7:09 p.m. at Cumberland Mall, according to arrest warrants from the Cobb County Police Department.

Police were informed by mall security that a vehicle used in a robbery at the mall the day before was there again. Police located the vehicle in the parking garage and saw multiple males running for it. Police were able to detain three of the four males involved, according to the warrants.

After securing the scene, police spoke to the store clerk and watched footage of the incident. Gregory and an unidentified male are accused of walking into the mall together and going to the second-floor jewelry kiosk. Gregory is accused of acting as a lookout, lingering around the kiosk and at one point appears to reach over the counter while the clerk was occupied by his accomplice. When the six chains are snatched, both men ran for the exit fleeing toward the getaway vehicle, according to the warrants.

Johnson is accused of acting as a lookout that stayed on the first floor, lingering just beneath the kiosk. Once the jewelry was stolen, he fled in the same direction. Waller is accused of waiting in the running vehicle, which was backed into a parking stall near a mall entrance. The males were entering the vehicle when police boxed the vehicle in, according to the warrants.

Gregory, Johnson and Waller are all charged with robbery snatch. All three were arrested on Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records.

Gregory, Johnson and Waller all remain in custody without bond. Waller also has a hold from the Atlanta Police Department.
