Kent, Washington– Four suspects are being sought after a stolen minivan was driven into a jewelry store in Kent, WA, and thieves made off with an undisclosed amount of merchandise, KOMO News reported.

Police responded to Taj Jewelers just after 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. According to investigators, the four suspects, wearing Tyvek protective suits and gloves, drove a Toyota Sienna minivan into the storefront, then rushed inside armed with clubs and machetes to smash display cases and steal jewelry. Police did not immediately have the total value of the stolen goods available.

The suspects fled in a second stolen vehicle, a Hyundai Tucson. At least one jewelry store employee sustained minor injuries after being assaulted by one of the suspects, police told KOMO news.

Police have not identified or located the suspects but said investigators have vehicle descriptions and last known locations based on automated license plate reader hits.
