Duo Arrested for $1,000,000 Burglary

April 5, 2018 - Brooklyn, NY

Brooklyn, NY – On April 5, 2018, the subjects below, were arrested for their involvement in a $1,000,000 jewelry store burglary. The duo, identified as Kevin Young and Kevin Lyde, both 55, committed the burglary on February 2, 2018 in New Rochelle, NY. The men accessed the jewelry store by cutting through the roof.

The subjects are believed to have committed other burglaries in the area.

They were arrested on April 5, 2018 in Brooklyn, NY. The apprehension included several law enforcement agencies; the New Rochelle Police Department, the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, the Bergen County, N.J. Prosecutor’s Office and the Port Chester Police Department. These agencies executed search warrants in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Both men were charged with first-degree grand larceny and burglary.
