Attempted Robbers Gun Breaks Apart

On August 7, 2016 at approximately 4:00 p.m. a subject inquired about a chain that was inside of a display case. The owner went to the back of the store to get a key for the case.

Suddenly, the subject pulled out a gun on an employee and pointed it towards her head. The employee screamed for help. The owner then ran towards her in an attempt to thwart the robbery.

The owner fought with the suspect to get control of the gun. Eventually, the suspect regained possession of the gun. He stepped back to use it, and then it fell apart in his hand.
