Video: Owner Scares off Violent Robbers

Walnut Creek, CA – On April 20, 2017 three men in construction vests presented a jewelry store owner with a clipboard and documentation. The suspects asked the owner to sign a form to have the store’s power turned off.

As the owner was reviewing the document, one of the suspects suddenly pepper sprayed him and a customer. At that point, the second suspect removed a baseball bat from his pants and smashed through a display case.

The suspects attempted to grab merchandise, but the owner brandished his gun and trained it at the suspects, who then fled.

The owner did not fire. The suspects fled in a black Dodge Challenger with black paper plates.
