Video: Violent Struggle between Officer and Suspect

Bradenton, FL – On April 2, 2017, 23-year-old Isaac Hernandez Dubon was arrested for committing a burglary at a jewelry store.

In the footage below, lieutenant William Weldon of the Bradenton Police Department responded to an alarm.

Upon arriving, Lt. Weldon found Dubon in the store. The video below captures the suspect trying to gain possession of Weldon’s gun.

The suspect gouged Weldon’s eyes and hit him in the back of the head. Weldon then struck Dubon with his gun. Additional officers arrived and were able to subdue the suspect. Both men were taken to the hospital to treat non life threatening injuries.
