MAN CHARGED IN $500,000 THEFT- CARY, NC

On 6/19/18, police in Cary, NC charged 31-year-old Danny Thomas Goldston, Jr., with larceny and breaking-or-entering. On 5/7/18, Goldston, allegedly broke into a jewelry store at 5:00 a.m., with an accomplice. Surveillance footage showed one of the subjects using a crowbar or hammer to access the display cases. The duo then proceeded to remove $500,000 in merchandise from the store. Goldston has been in custody since 5/12/18. He was arrested on car theft, kidnapping, misdemeanor assault and probation violation charges.
