SHOTS FIRED IN SMASH & GRAB – ANCHORAGE, AK

On 4/24/18, at approximately 7:37 p.m., three male subjects committed a gunpoint smash and grab robbery of a store that sells jewelry. One man was armed with a long gun while his two accomplices had handguns. One of the subjects also had a hammer. In the process of smashing one of the jewelry display cases, a round was discharged from his gun. The round went into the display case and no one was injured. The subject then removed jewelry. After taking the merchandise, the subjects fled from the store.

The subjects were described as Polynesian. The first subject wore a gray hoodie with a black jacket with white stripes and black pants. He also wore a mask. The second subject wore a gray jacket and black pants. The third subject wore a black and white plaid jacket, black ski cap and a kerchief covering his face.
