SNEAK THEFT – TOLEDO, OH

On 4/19/17, at approximately 11:30 a.m., a female suspect said she was shopping for an engagement ring. The sales associate asked the suspect if she would like to open a credit account, the suspect said yes, but was denied. After the suspect left the store the ring could not be located.  After reviewing surveillance, the suspect was observed concealing the diamond band in her pocket while the credit application was being processed. The suspect was located on her bicycle a few miles from the store. She was arrested.
