On 4/25/16, at approximately 12:00 p.m., a female subject stated she wanted to see gold chains. The subject stated she had been ripped off in the past by not buying real gold. She also stated she had tax money and said she only wanted to see 14 Karat gold chains. The subject was shown a chain which she placed around her neck. She then removed it and placed it on the counter pad alongside two other chains that the sales associate placed there. After the sales associate asked her manager a question and turned her head, she noticed one of the chains on the counter was missing. The associate began searching for the item and asked the subject if she had it. The subject said she did not have it and began checking her clothing and then left the area stating she was getting her driver’s license to complete a credit application. However, she never returned to the store. While leaving she was asked for her name; she said Casey. She is a 35-year-old White female. She weighs 200 pounds and is approximately 5’4” tall. She wore a gray hoodie with blue jeans with rips in them and white shoes. She had a lip ring in her upper lip that contained a blue stone. She was initially in the store with a White male in his 40’s that was 6’0” tall and weighed 250 pounds. He wore a white t-shirt and green pants and was balding on top of his head and had black curly hair on the sides of his head.
