DISTRACTION THEFT – LIVINGSTON, NJ

On 7/24/16, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a sales associate was assisting a female subject.At that point the phone rang and the sales associate answered it. The sales associate put a gold chain down beside the computer while she answered the phone. When the sales associate turned around to write something down, and then turned back, the chain was gone. The female subject was asked for the chain and she said she didn’t have it. The subject is described as an African American female in her late 40’s. She was last seen wearing a grey sweat suit and black shirt. She also walked with a limp.
