Couva, Trinidad & Tobago – On March 6, 2019, at approximately 5:00 a.m., two subjects robbed a jewelry store. After the owners were informed of the robbery, they called the police.
When police responded, they found the store’s glass door was broken. After police entered the store, they found the two robbers hiding in the restroom. The police state the robbers shot at them and they had to defend themselves. The two men died as a result of their injuries. They were suspected to have committed another jewelry store robbery the month before their death.
