Berlin, Germany – January 3, 2022 – The Dresden state court has announced that six men will go on trial on January 28, 2022. The six suspects are accused of taking part in a break-in at the Green Vault Museum in Germany on November 25, 2019.

In all, the suspects escaped with jewelry that had an insured value of $129 million. The stolen jewelry consisted of 21 pieces, that contained more than 4,300 diamonds.

The suspects are believed to have laid a fire before the break-in and cut power to the power supply for streetlights that were outside the Museum. The location of the stolen jewelry is unknown.
