5 Subjects wanted for smash and grab

Moreno Valley, CA – On August 30, 2022, at 1:28 p.m., the subject below identified as subject #1 was seen walking past a jewelry store as he cased the store. After approximately 20 seconds, subject #1 exited the mall and met with subjects #2-#5 at their vehicle, a later model burgundy Camaro. At 1:30 p.m, all 5 subjects left the vehicle and proceeded toward the mall entrance. All 5 subjects stopped approximately 10 feet from the store and were out of sight of store staff.

They placed masks over their faces and gloves on their hands (two used white socks as gloves). At 1:31 p.m, subject #2 approached the store where he began to smash into the top of two cases with a sledgehammer. Once successfully accessed, all remaining subjects began selecting various gold chains, gold and diamond bracelets, and charms from the open case tops. They then placed them either in one of the two backpacks, their pockets, or kept them in their hands as they all fled.

At approximately 1:32 p.m., a female who is not part of the group but standing by observing was seen kneeling down and picking up dropped jewelry pieces 5 different times from the floor below the case and along the escape route of the subjects, leading to the outside of the mall.
