On 9/8/22, at approximately 1:14 p.m., a jewelry store was the victim of a grab and run theft. A lone male entered the location under the pretense of shopping for a bracelet. The subject claimed he was looking for an inexpensive men’s gold bracelet. The team members showed the subject several options and sale items from the showcase.
The subject did not provide an exact budget price or other information. The curb link bracelet was removed from the showcase and placed on the subject’s wrist, but team members maintained control. When the bracelet was handed back to secure it in the showcase, the subject immediately grabbed the bracelet from the second team member’s hand and fled the store. No injuries were reported.
The subject is Black and in his mid 20’s. He has a dark complexion, is tall, and has a thin build. He was last seen wearing tattoos on both arms. He also wore a Louis Vuitton bucket hat, a mask, a black short sleeve t-shirt, black pants, and black tennis shoes.
