Wanted Distraction Thieves

Rolla, MO – On October 20, 2022, during the afternoon hours, the two individuals pictured below, stole several thousand dollars worth of jewelry from a business. The pair selected over $13,000 in jewelry and produced $9,700 in cash. The female insisted the jewelry be wrapped in tissue paper and placed in a gift bag.

The female was pushy and aggressive and helped to wrap and package the jewelry in the tissue paper. The pair were told they were short cash and went to their car to get additional money. The pair fled the area. The jewelry store learned that the female stole the jewelry and likely used sleight of hand to conceal the items on her person.

Subjects descriptions: Both mid 30’s to early 40’s, dark olive skin tone complexion, thick eastern European accent, possibly Romanian. The female had purple highlights on the ends of her hair. The male wore a cross-chest fanny pack in which he kept the cash.
