DIAMOND SWITCH – HINESVILLE, GA

On 12/13/22, at approximately 6:30 p.m., a jewelry store was the victim of a diamond switch.� A lone male entered the location and began looking at diamond solitaire earrings.� After looking at several, the male asked to see a particular earring.� A team member removed the item from the showcase. The team member removed one of the solitaire earrings from the display pad and handed it to the male.� Moments later, the male handed the earring back, stating he forgot his identification and was going to get it to apply for credit.� As soon as the male exited, the team member realized the male switched the diamond earring with a cubic zirconia earring.� The subject was described as a white male. He is 6’0”, and has a medium build. He is in his early-to-mid 30’s, and has dark curly hair. He was last seen wearing tan pants, and a blue/white shirt.
