3 MINUTE BURGLARY – AUSTIN, TX

On 1/22/2023, at approximately 3:03 a.m., a male subject parked a dark truck in front of a retail jewelry store. He removed a black plastic bin and a hammer from his back seat. The subject then threw the hammer through the lower glass of the store’s front door to gain entry. All of the merchandise was dropped down in the case and wasn’t visible at the time of the theft. The subject pried seven cases open and placed the contents of the case in the bin he brought with him. When the bin was full, the subject left the store and fled. He was in the store for three minutes. He was described as a male wearing a dark jacket, dark hoodie, dark pants, camo hat, mask, and gloves.
