Burglar arrested after stealing $10,000 worth of jewelry

Franklin, MA – On August 11, 2021, the Franklin Police Department announced that 32-year-old Patrick Maranda was arrested for committing a burglary at a jewelry store.

Cameras recorded Maranda using a hammer to break through a jewelry store’s front door on July 31, 2021. Shortly after breaking into the store, Maranda escaped with $10,000 in jewelry. Maranda was arrested on August 10, 2021. View the video below to see the crime.
