On 8/10/19, a jewelry store experienced several alarm activation signals overnight. Police responded each time the alarms went off. After meeting with an electrician, the owner discovered that an exterior breaker had been intentionally turned off only to the jewelry store, and none of the other businesses. The lock to the breaker was also damaged. After reviewing surveillance footage, investigators discovered that a subject had cut power to the business. The footage also showed two men walking in the area at the time of the power interruption. Footage from an adjacent business showed one of the men and a woman walking in the area earlier in the day. No merchandise was taken.
