DIAMOND SWITCH – AVENTURA, FL

On 12/26/19, at approximately 5:40 p.m., a male subject entered a jewelry store and stated he was interested in looking at earrings. The subject asked to try them on. The sales associate allowed the subject to try them on. As the subject tried them on, he asked many questions about the price and other features of the earrings. After 10 minutes, the subject removed the earrings from his ears. He then placed them back on the component and handed them to the sales associate. The subject then immediately left the store.

After the sales associate retrieved the component, they noticed the earrings were not real. The earrings were confirmed as CS’z. The subject was described as a White male in his late 20’s. He has short dark hair. He is 5’6” and weighs about 200 lbs. If you have any information regarding this subject, please call the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at 212-687-0328.
