DISTRACTION THEFT – BUFFALO, NY

On 4/11/16, at approximately 8:25 p.m., a subject requested to see various watches over a 45 minute time period. The subject confused the sales associate by taking his own watch on and off and placing it on the counter pad and requesting to see other watches. While the subject had possession of the store’s watch he turned his back to the two sales associates assisting him. He then concealed the watch. The subject had shopped in the location before. He is described as a 28-year-old White male. He has an average build and wore a red pull over cardigan with blue pants and black sneakers.
