DISTRACTION THEFT – WAUWATOSA, WI

On 11/30/16, two male suspects inquired about high-end watches. Both suspects displayed a large amount of cash. The sales associate informed the men that they would need to fill out a special tax form due to the payment being in cash and over $10,000. The suspects stated they had a brother who had a credit card with a high credit limit and he was in the mall. The sales associate then went to the back office to get a box for the watch. When she returned she placed the watch into the box. One of the suspects asked to see the watch again. The sales associate handed him the box containing the watch. The suspect opened and shut the box and then gave it to his accomplice, who then gave it back to the associate. At that point the suspects stated they would return with their brother. They did not return and the box was found to be empty. Both suspects were described as European Males. One suspect is 5’5” tall and weighs 150 lbs. He is in his 40’s and has a medium complexion and gold caps on the bottom of his teeth. He has short dark hair and wore a black coat with a white shirt. The second suspect is 5’6” tall and weighs 190 lbs., he is in his 30’s and has dark hair. He wore a round fedora hat and had a goatee. He also wore a dark coat and dark pants.
