Distraction Thieves

May 25, 2017 - Pleasant Prairie, WI

On the date listed above, this suspect and his accomplice featured below, brought a small child into a retail store and inquired about gold chains and bracelets.

The suspects examined several items and returned them. The female suspect asked to see a gold chain which the sales associate handed her. The male suspect then placed the small child on top of the display case. At that point, he asked to see another gold chain and attempted to place it on the child. He then returned the item to the associate.

As items were exchanged back and forth during the presentation, the female suspect was given a bracelet and concealed that item.

At the end of the presentation, the suspects selected items they wanted to purchase. When the sales associate provided the price, the suspects stated they would return with cash. They never did.

The male suspect is described as 5’9.” He has a heavy build and weighs 290 pounds. He has a full beard and mustache.

The female suspect is 5’6″ and has a heavy build. She weighs 230 pounds.
