On 2/16/22, at approximately 7:42 p.m, a jewelry store was the victim of a top-of-counter (spinner) theft. At closing, a team member began placing sheets over the showcases and realized a spinner was missing from the showcase. After reviewing video, it was determined that team members were assisting customers when a lone male removed the top-of-counter spinner off the top of the showcase. Once he gained possession of the spinner, he removed a plastic bag from under his jacket and concealed the spinner inside the plastic bag. Then, the male exited the location. The subject was described as Black, with a medium build, and dark clothing. There have now been at least 3 top-of-counter spinner thefts in the Atlanta area within the last 3 weeks.
