GRAB AND RUN – COLUMBUS, OH

On 8/9/22, at approximately 1:00 p.m., a retail jewelry store was the victim of a grab and run theft. According to management, a single subject entered the store and asked to look at gold chains and bracelets. The subject picked out a 10K WG 3ct TDW 8.5″ Curbed Men’s Bracelet. He then started to walk away from the display case with the merchandise. At this time, another employee got between the subject and the subject began to appear agitated, so the employee allowed the subject to pass. The subject was described as a Black male. He is 5’11″ and he has a shorter cropped hairstyle. He wore white-colored clothing and white tennis shoes.
