GRAB AND RUN – ELYRIA, OHIO

On 5/4/16, at approximately 4:00 p.m., a male suspect entered the kiosk and was recognized by a sales associate who previously sold him a chain. The suspect stated that he wanted to look at larger chains. At that point the sales associate removed a rope chain from the display case. The suspect bent down and placed the chain around his neck so he could process the sale. At this time, the suspect ran from the store with the chain around his neck. The suspects was described as an African American male. He is 5’9” and has a slender build. He wore jeans, a black shirt and a white hoodie. The suspect wore black and white tennis shoes and had wavy hair. He also had slits in his eyebrows.
