On 7/7/19, at approximately 6:10 p.m., a subject visited a jewelry store and requested 22” or 24” gold chains. The subject stated he wanted a gold chain similar to the one he was currently wearing.  The sales associate presented one gold chain. At that point, the subject asked about the weight of a second gold chain in the showcase. As the sales associate was viewing the tag of a second item in the showcase, the subject grabbed the first gold chain from the associate and fled from the store. The subject was described as a 5’4”, 150 lb.  Black male. He is in his late 30’s. He was last seen wearing a white striped t-shirt with blue/gray and white shorts. He also wore a YG chain with a Jesus pendant, along with tennis shoes with bright orange heels. If you have any information regarding this subject, please call the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at 212-687-0328.
