GRAB AND RUN – GRAND RAPIDS, MI

On 6/21/22 at approximately 1:03 p.m.,, a jewelry store had a grab and run theft after a male and female subject approached the store and asked to see gold chains. A 20″ curb chain was selected and staff displayed the chain in their hands. The female subject asked to see it closer to her. As it was brought forward, the female grabbed the chain and both the male and female subject fled from the store without payment. No person was injured in this store. The female subject was described as White, wearing Nike shoes and turquoise blue hair which appeared to be recently dyed, and a hoodie. She was also wearing a grey face mask. The male was described as White, and tall with a slim build.
