On 10/31/17, at approximately 2:55 p.m., two suspects approached a kiosk. The first suspect stated he was looking for a chain to replace one he had because his daughter broke a link. He was then shown a similar chain after pointing it out. At that point, a second suspect came around the corner and stood next to him. The first suspect then asked to see a different gold chain. The chains were exchanged and the sales associate kept two fingers wrapped around the end of the second chain. The first suspect said “that’s the one.” He then took it from the associates hand and fled from the store. Both suspects were described as 27-years-old and Hispanic. The first suspect is 5’10” and has a thick beard. He has a full tattoo on his left arm and has a muscular build. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and a gold chain with Christ the Redeemer on a charm. The second suspect is a 27-year-old male. He is 5’7” and has a chubby build. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt. If you have any information regarding the identities if these suspects please call the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at 212-687-0328.
