On 1/9/22, at approximately 1:50 p.m., a grab and run theft occurred at a retail jewelry store. A lone male subject entered the store under the pretense of shopping for engagement rings. During the presentation, the subject wanted to compare two rings, once in his possession, he fled on foot. The Charles County Sheriff Department was contacted and responded to take a report. There were no injuries. The subject was described as Black, 6’0″ tall, and heavyset. He was last seen wearing a black skull cap with possibly security words on it.
