GRAB AND RUN – WESTLAND, MI

On 7/7/19, at approximately 5:00 p.m., a subject entered a jewelry store and introduced himself as Gerard. He stated he was shopping for his wife. He was not sure what style of ring he wanted to buy or what his budget was. The sales associate placed a rose gold set on a ring pad and then turned the presentation over to another associate. At that time, the subject removed the ring from the pad and fled from the store. The subject was described as a Black male in his 40’s. He has small facial scars and short curly hair.
