GRAB & RUN – ELYRIA, OH

On 3/30/22, at approximately 6:20 p.m., a jewelry store was the victim of a grab and run theft. According to Management, a single subject entered the store and asked to look at lab-created earrings and attempted to have the employee remove multiple pairs. The employee stated that it was against company policy to remove more than one pair at a time. The subject then went over and looked at other pieces of jewelry but returned back to the lab-created earrings and requested to see the 14KW 2ct round earrings. Once the merchandise was removed from the case, which was attached to the component, he asked to compare another set of earrings and was declined. The subject then grabbed the component that contained the earrings and ran from the store.
