GRAB & RUN – MORENO VALLEY, CA

On 9/5/21, at approximately 11:20 a.m., a male subject approached a jewelry store and asked if his “chain was here”. After being informed the store didn’t open until 12:00 p.m., the subject stated he had been helped two days prior and asked if there was any way the store could open the gates for him at that moment. After being informed by the team member that they would be happy to help him once the store was open, he departed in a rush and was irritated.

Upon the subject’s return, after the store opened, he described a 10K yellow gold lion pendant and gold chain he had been shown on his previous visit. After trying on both pieces, the subject began to talk about possibly applying for progressive leasing as well as requesting to try on a third item, a gold & diamond ring. After the team member showed him the ring to try on, the subject threw on his hoodie and took off running with all three items. The subject was described as Black, and approximately 20-years- old. He is 5’8”, 130 lbs, and has short dreadlocks with blonde highlights. He was last seen wearing a navy-blue hoodie. If you have any information regarding this subject’s identity, please contact the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at 212-687-0328 or jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org.
