ROBBERY – BATON ROUGE, LA

On 5/8/19, at approximately 8:45 p.m., two male subjects entered a jewelry store and ordered everyone to get on the floor. One of the subjects demanded the manager open the showcases with case keys. The first subject laid a hammer on top of the case and proceeded to remove jewelry from 5 showcases. None of the showcases were smashed. One of the subjects grabbed bridal pieces and loose diamonds. He then placed them into a pink bag. Once the jewelry was taken from the showcases, the subjects demanded the manager open the vault. The subjects checked the vault and found it was empty. They then fled from the store and entered into an unknown vehicle.

The first subject was described as a Black male wearing a red hoodie pulled over his head. He wore white garden gloves and black pants with a white stripe and dark tennis shoes. He also carried a pink backpack. The second subject wore a black hoodie pulled over his head. He also wore gloves, dark pants, and red tennis shoes.
