SMASH AND GRAB – EASTVALE, CA

On 10/24/23, at 1:09 p.m., a jewelry store experienced an attempted armed robbery/smash & grab. As a silver Toyota Camry backed into a parking space immediately in front of this off-mall location, three hooded, masked, and gloved subjects exited the vehicle and approached the store’s front entrance carrying white tall kitchen style trash cans.

As the subjects began to open the front door to enter the store, the armed security guard who was posted just inside of the front doors, noticed the subjects, and as they also noticed the guard, two of the subjects proceeded to spray towards the guard with an unknown substance. Once the subjects noticed the guard was armed, they all began to retreat and head back to their vehicle where they sped away.
