SMASH AND GRAB ROBBERS WANTED – FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA

Law enforcement in Fairfax County Virginia are currently investigating three jewelry store robberies that occurred at Tyson’s Corner Center, the Fair Oaks Mall, and the Springfield Mall, in an effort to assess whether or not the robberies are connected.

The first robbery occurred on 9/8/22 at 2:45 p.m. In that incident, the subjects smashed display cases and stole high-end watches and jewelry. On 9/18/22, after 1:00 p.m., subjects used hammers to smash through a jewelry store’s display cases and also stole high-end watches. The third robbery took place on 9/20/22. In that incident, one male subject entered a jewelry store and proceeded to show a handgun and told employees to let another man inside the store. Once both subjects were inside the store, they used hammers to smash through display cases. The subjects fled the scene in a black Lexus SUV that had stolen license plates.
