SMASH & GRAB – DECATUR, GA

On 6/17/19, at approximately 1:02 p.m., two male subjects entered a store and stood close to jewelry cases. After about one minute, one of the subjects began hitting the top of the case with a small pointed tool. The second subject then helped hit the top of the showcase with his fists, but he could not get through the laminated glass. He ran toward the exit, while his accomplice put his right hand through the opening of the glass and managed to take 6 rings. The subjects fled from the store within 1 minute and 45 seconds. The subjects were described as two black males. One wearing a glove on both hands and one wearing a glove only on his right hand. If you have any information regarding these subjects, please call the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at 212-687-0328.
