Four Smash & Grab Suspects Arrested

June 11, 2019 - Jacksonville, FL

Jacksonville, FL – On June 11, 2019, at approximately 6:50 p.m., three suspects entered a jewelry store and started smashing display cases. They took jewelry and then fled from the store. The subjects were caught outside of the store after the robbery. The three suspects arrested at the crime scene have been identified as� John Davis, 29;� Tristian Murphy, 30 and� Delano Carlos Ross, 28.

A fourth suspect identified as 28-year-old Devon Newby, managed to briefly evade capture before his vehicle was spotted on the I-95 highway. Newby was arrested in Camden County, GA. Authorities in Georgia were informed the suspect drove a Silver Hyundai with a South Carolina tag. The Camden County Sheriff’s Office along with the Kingsland Police Department arrested Newby.
