Iligan City, Lanao del Norte, Philippines – The son of former mayor Fahad Salic was identified as one of the four robbers involved in a gunpoint robbery at a jewelry store. The robbery occurred on January 16, 2021. Staff Sgt. Amador Rosales of the Marawi City Police Station stated that the owner of the store identified Mahid Salic as the robber who pointed a gun at him while his accomplices broke glass shelves containing jewelry.
Mahid was not wearing a mask during the robbery. The store owner fought back with the robbers and as a result he sustained stab wounds all over his body. On January 22, 2021 Salic was charged with robbery with violence against a person. Click here to read more.
