Takoma Park, MD – On June 14, 2019, 23-year-old Ever Torres-Enriquez, was arrested following a traffic stop on New Hampshire Avenue in Maryland.
Torres-Enriquez was charged with armed robbery and carjacking in relation to a robbery of a jewelry store which occurred on February 16, 2019.
On that date, two subjects entered a jewelry store and announced a robbery. The subjects escaped with cash and jewelry. After fleeing from the store, the subjects accosted two men who were in a Toyota Camry parked outside of the jewelry store. The subjects threatened the victims with a weapon and demanded their car. The subjects then fled in the stolen vehicle.
