Jeweler Arrested

January 6, 2018 - Port Huron, MI

Port Huron Police have issued an arrest warrant for 62-year-old Rick Bud Currie on charges of larceny by conversion of $20,000 or more and larceny by conversion of $1,000 or more less than 20,000.

Currie was evicted from his business on January 6, 2018 for failure to pay rent. Currie has not returned the jewelry his customers left in his possession.

According to Port Huron Police Chief Jeff Baker, his department has received 160 complaints about Currie as well as allegations of more than $300,000 in losses.
