$1.5M in jewelry stolen from jeweler over Super Bowl weekend

February 1, 2020 - Miami, FL

Sometime between late February 1, and early February 2, 2020, someone was able to get into a jeweler’s hotel room.  The subject(s) stole $1.5 million worth of jewelry. The jeweler had planned to sell the jewelry to celebrity clientele over the course of the weekend. The jeweler was not in his hotel room at the time of the theft.

Police in Miami arrested the suspect in the featured image. He is 30-year-old Xandi Garcia. Watch the video below to learn how Garcia was implicated in the investigation of this theft.
