3 SUSPECTS FROM MICHIGAN ARRESTED AFTER SMASH & GRAB – PEORIA, IL

On 2/26/21, at approximately 12:15 p.m., two male subjects entered a mall and smashed a jewelry store’s glass cases with a sledgehammer. They then entered an awaiting vehicle and drove off. No one was injured during the robbery. Police were provided with a description of the vehicle. They determined the subjects were traveling on interstate 74. The suspects’ vehicle was stopped, two of the subjects then fled on foot into a wooded area, the third subject remained in the vehicle. All three suspects were arrested. They were identified as 19-year-old Terrion G. Johnson, 21-year-old Jabreez L. Thompkins, and 26-year-old Christopher K. Smith. All three suspects are residents of Michigan.
