DISTRACTION THEFT – CHEEKTOWAGA, NY

On 4/30/16, at approximately 4:11 p.m., a suspect requested to see various gold chains. The suspect confused the sales associate by requesting to see several different chains and at one point the sales associate had three chains out of the showcase at once. While the sales associate was confused as to which chains she had out, the suspect concealed a chain in his pocket and left the location. The suspect is described as a 5’11” white male. He is 220 pounds and in his fifties. He has salt and pepper hair and was last seen wearing a college jacket and white shoes.
